Blackfoot Crossing Historical Park is an exciting, authentic Blackfoot cultural experience and is Treaty 7 region's newest attraction. Located about 100 kilometres east of Calgary on Highway 1 (the Trans Canada Highway) and 7 kilometres south on Highway 842 in the Canadian Badlands Region.

Enter a stunning new facility and embark upon an unforgettable journey as you delight in fantastic Exhibitions and dazzling Performances.

We offer various demonstrations - Visit What's New for the centre's current demonstrations, activities and events. Sample some delicious traditional food in our Restaurant or take home a special memory from our gift shop.

Don’t limit yourself to the building … take a complimentary tour of the numerous historic sites or with a local interpreter who will explain the importance of the sites, this building and this valley.

  • Summer Hours are in effect from May - September:
    • 9 am - 6 pm all week
  • Winter Hours are in effect from October - April:
    • 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday
    • 10 am - 4 pm Saturday
    • closed Sundays
